Fillers are injectables made from hyaluronic acid, a sugar naturally produced by the body. These products in gel form can be used to restore volume lost over time. It is injected into the tissues to eliminate wrinkles and fine lines, as well as to fill in deep folds. It can also increase lip volume and shape the face. Hyaluronic acid is marketed by several pharmaceutical manufacturers such as Stylage, Belotero, Juvederm, Restylane, Teosyal etc. Each product has its own cohesiveness and hyaluronic acid content specific to different types of corrections.

The course
When making the appointment, our doctor will contact you by phone to discuss your medical history and your needs so that we can determine if you are a good candidate for the injections.
During your first in-person consultation, the doctor and nurse will have you fill out a medical questionnaire which they will review with you in order to make a treatment plan for you based on the desired results.
The appointment
To complete your file, the nurse or medical assistant will take your before and after photos. Taking photographs will allow you to follow the evolution during your follow-up. An anesthetic cream will then be applied to the targeted areas to make the session completely comfortable. .
Once the appointment is over, the nurse will explain to you complementary care recommendations for use at homeand will give you an ice pack and a post-processing sheet.
The session lasts 30 to 60 minutes on average.
RECOVERY
-The effects will be visible immediately after the injection and will continue to improve for the next two weeks.
-Injection reactions are different from person to person.
-It is possible to have small red marks at the injection sites but these will go away after 30 minutes to 1 hour following the injection.
-It is normal to have bruises and swelling for a few days but it will be possible to wear make-up 48 hours later to camouflage.
-It is advisable not to drink alcohol or make intense physical effort 24 hours after the injection.
